The scooter is a 72 volt system so the voltage is correct and if the plug is correct and it automatically shuts off when full charge is achieved (84 volts) it should be fine.
Unless i do a long ride i do about a 90% charge so what i do is use a simple vacation lamp timer and set it to charge for my best guess to get to 90% and let it charge say for 3 hours and then it shuts off and i unplug it in the morning. (we have lower rates for electricity at night so I charge overnight)
