Thanks for letting me join! Can anyone tell where I could find a charger for the Kaabo Wolf King? Thanks for all the help.

Welcome to the forum! I moved this question over into its own topic so It’ll be easier for people to find in the future.

Specs for Wolf King charger are 84V, 1.5A with GX16-3P connector.

The Wolf King is a 72V scooter, meaning 72 V nominal and 84 V at max charge (see our battery voltage charts for more info).

In the U.S., VORO Motors and KREO Motors both carry the King so you might inquire if they sell (I couldn’t find on their site), otherwise if you are going generic, you should be able to get a charger/quick charger from Amazon or elsewhere with these specs:

84V output
1.5 A (slow version) or more for faster charge
GX16-3P connector (3 pin w/ 1: positive, 3: negative)

justin . Justin i have a charging question. Is it okay to recharge at say 45% back to 80%? Or is it best to wait until battery reaches 30%.. Thanks for the Help!!!!

justin for larger capcity batteries 1.5ah is very slow, id recommend buying gx16-3 2ah or 4ah variantm pay bit extar but have good charge times

MichaelKelley Absolutely fine to do this.

Basic guideline for optimal battery life is to operate the battery within the 30% to 80% range. You want to stay in this band, but this doesn’t mean that you must always charge/discharge from 30% to 80%. Li-ion batteries don’t have memory.

Of course, I personally think that you shouldn’t worry too much about this because the scooter is meant to be used.

However, if not inconvenient then trying to keep it in this range is good for stretching the life.

The one I ordered ened up being the wrong one. The connector looked exactly the same but was half the size. The Good News is Voro Motors now has the standard charger in stock.

Hey… I found a charger at aliexpress… 84V 5A… do you think would cause any problems?

That’s a tricky one. Generally the BMS is going to take care of things as long as the power supply feeds it the right voltage and enough current. I would definitely babysit the scooter on the first charge, and make sure it cuts off and goes into standby at 84V or so. Also, don’t leave it plugged in after the scooter is fully charged. It’s a big battery, so as long as the BMS will allow it, the battery can handle 5A charging.

I found a 3A charger(Yarlis) on Amazon and am really happy with it. It has a fan, fuse and seems to be well built. When i combine it with the 1.5A charger that came with the scooter , it charges plenty fast.

is it bad to charge the kaabo wolf king gt pro with 84v 6.5a from fluid free ride charger?

The scooter is a 72 volt system so the voltage is correct and if the plug is correct and it automatically shuts off when full charge is achieved (84 volts) it should be fine.

Unless i do a long ride i do about a 90% charge so what i do is use a simple vacation lamp timer and set it to charge for my best guess to get to 90% and let it charge say for 3 hours and then it shuts off and i unplug it in the morning. (we have lower rates for electricity at night so I charge overnight)
