The only idea I can think of without seeing it, is that the tubing has been crushed a little and isn’t round. Have a look and see if the end of the tube looks oval or has any sharp bends in it. If it’s oval, try gently squishing it back to round again. Do post photos if you can, and we may be able to offer more advice.
