Hello everybody, just found this board, and went through discussions. Tons of info, thank you!
I am between NAMI Burn E2 (not MAX) and Teverun BladeGT+ (or Vig Blade Pro found latter through this board!).
Seems they are in about the same class and price range (my budget is about $2,500).
I have never seen these scooters with my own eyes. So have to rely on youtube videos if I can find them.
ESG had a great review on NAMI. Oddly, no review on Blade at all.
The main use will be off-road riding in hilly areas. So, main criteria for me are:
Climbing grade. Don’t need speed, just climbing capability. Stalling in the middle of the steep hill and pushing scooter uphill is not much fun. If I can make it to the top of long steep heel in the nature, it would be awesome.
Seem Burn E2 is 5040 peak W, 104 lb. Seems Blade GT/Pro has 4500 peak w, but is 77 lb. Not sure what’s more capable.
Stability and comfort while riding of-road easily, and stay stable and comfortable while shifting my weight.
(my current Kugoo G3 make my legs hurt, due to very steep angle for rear foot support)
Durability - worry about a lot of vibration and braking during off-roading, so not sure how each will hold up.
Resale value - if I decide to upgrade further in the next couple of years. Not sure if people sell used scooters, or it is pretty much one-time buy.
Seems like Teverun has other beautiful scooters (Fighter 11 and Extreme), but I am not clear on their price, durability, and reputation. Has anyone has experience with brand? Not sure what happens with service/warranty/replacement parts, etc.
Thank you all for your help to newbee, and his new-found passion!
