Please recommend me a scooter

I need a very very reliable scooter to commute to college every day. There are a few 30 degree hills. My criteria is: at least 40 mph, at least 25 miles of range, less than 38 kg, less than 3000 dollars. Please give some recommendations.

a good choice except the weight and folded dimensions - it’s a big scooter to lug around. The mantis GT King might be something to look at as well

PaulN got my eyes on that one. Still no reviews though 🫤. The only downside for me might be the tubes 😬. Though it looks easier to fix them than on my bike 😅

Replacing the tube takes 1 to 2 hours depending on your motivation level. I just like making sure i do it correctly without breaking anything so I take my time. it’s hit and miss with the tires really. On the mantis i have had only one flat after 1500 kms. On the Apollo its been 3 in under 1000 kms, I don’t think a scooter choice should be made on the stock wheels that could be upgraded later if the rest of the scooter is amazing.

PaulN Yeap Paul is right , bigger is tires more rare you need change tubes.
When back in 2017 i buyed my first scooter xioami 365 changing tube was usual each two month.
I was even considering tubeless tires but since our roads are disaster and xiaomi 365 is no suspension didnt do that.
Once i upgraded to next scooter was kinda suprised that even if i drive trough broken glasess tires is still ok.
Also its important to regular check how much PSI is in tires.
actual back in 2017 was funy in local market no replacement tubes no electric scooter service.
I was going to bysicle repair shop guy searched forums how to maintain scooter and used glue to repair tubes 🙂)

PaulN took me about a month and some days had to wait for the new tires and then tools and then the screw problem then finally was able to get the tire on but sadly with work and the weather there’s no time to ride

I’m lucky with the Kaabo as parts are available close to me but at much higher prices then i see on Amazon or Alibaba. I see deals on line for $10 tubes where as the local dealer wants $30. But at least i can drive there in under ½ hour.
I Love those tires on that Bluertran on the other thread, One day i would like to switch over to that brand, I haven’t been able to ride much this week myself. Still no sign of Cattitude too here lol… I guess he is having too much fun on his Dualtron.

Maybe you are right, I would like a simple solution to not pushing my scooter when i get a flat 25 kms from home. Or worse a front flat on a straightaway that you only sense turning into the next curve.

Maybe there should be a scooter towing service like for cars for $100/year lol
