Howdy. Living in a city with universally rough roads has done a number on my poor S2 Pro since I bought it in Sept 2021, I’ve done a lot of maintenance and have no clue what is going on here…
The other day, I rode it for 3-4 miles without any problems – until I braked to stop in front of my house. The brake light + deck LED panel started flashing red when I stopped and kept doing so until I unscrewed the battery compartment lid. I couldn’t connect with the app or turn it off with the power button (and I certainly can’t turn it on now), plus it didn’t register the charger before OR after I opened the battery compartment - so I know it isn’t connecting to power. Before it shut down, there was minor brake resistance that made it difficult to roll – seems like the electric brakes are the problem, or at least part of it.
So far, I have tried: leaving it alone overnight, replacing the 5 amp fuse, checking for wire issues inside of the battery compartment, loosening and tightening the brake cable.
Any thoughts?
