F40, G30LP, S2 Max, or NIU KQi3?

Which would you recommend?

HIBOY S2 Max
NIU KQi3 Pro

I am using this to traverse around my university campus and some nearby events/errands. There are a couple decent hills on my route. I don’t know the exact grade but I would have to assume ₁₅-20 degrees max.

I really like the KQi3 Pro especially with the price on Amazon right now. Only scooter we’ve tested for less than $1k that has dual disc brakes. Feels very well made.

DrScootLittle Thanks! Any thoughts on the Kugoo M4? I see that for 699, the KQI3 Pro for 679, and the KQI3 Max for 799.

The Kugoo looks interesting due to the suspension. The VSETT8 was a contender for me but it is pricier, and I am worried about the 8″ wheels vs the 10″ on the others.

AaronKatz the VSETT 8 is a pretty solid scooter imo was going to be my next scooter but I choose the VSETT 9+. If you’re worried about flats you can always change the front tires to solid. Haven’t seen much reviews on the Kugoo but I have heard NIU scooters are pretty solid I recommend to keep looking bc there are a lot of solid scooters out there still

ItsAqua thanks for the advice! The vsett 8 looked great, but was worried about the smaller tire. The nui kqi3 pro is 679, and the max is 799. Hard to think of moving to the vsett8 for another 300-400.

AaronKatz bigger tires are better but 8 in are like the standard in entry level scooters. The vsett 8 is on the higher end I do have a code for $50 off if you buy it from REVrides I know the 19 amp version uses a LG battery so that does make it pricey. I know Gotrax Hiboy Turboant and Levy have some scooters with 10 in tires. The hiboy s2 max is basically the G30LP. Definitely try to find a scooter with suspension it will definitely help smooth out the ride. Emove touring is a solid option if you don’t mind the 8 in wheels.

ItsAqua Thanks! Code would def be appreciated - I do like that it has turn signals. The biggest hesitation I’ve had is the debate about 8 vs 10″ tires while trying to stick to under $1,200 if possible, and have both front and rear braking.

CarlosPagan so you don’t want to kick to start the scooter? Just download the Segway app and connect the scooter to the app and go to the settings and turn off kick start
