Replacement Battery for Hiboy S2R

Hello,

Bought the above 9 months ago, I only used it twice a week for 2-3 miles each way. a few months ago it started to give me issues where suddenly the battery drained completely and the scooter shut down (it was def. fully charged), until last week where it’s done.
I have contacted their support (in China) and their solution is to buy a new battery for $150 (the scooter cost me ~$600…), which is crazy.
Is there a way to get a knockoff battery?

klahmy I also own a S2R as well and they definitely have a customer service center here in the US. I was in the same boat as you my battery life started to drain faster and they were able to send me a replacement battery for free but it was within the 6 months of the battery warranty. I don’t believe there is a knockoff battery since this is the only scooter I seen in the price range that has a removable deck battery. Hiboy is a decent company but I feel like a lot of the scooter parts are low quality.
