2021 Emove cruiser updates vs 2020 model

Can anyone provide updates on the 2021 Emove Cruiser vs 2020 model? I’ve seen the Voro Motors quick teaser about 20% higher top speed and maybe increased battery capacity? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hickoryhurst Hello There! The 2021 cruiser has a 20% higher top speed with speeds hitting around 30MPH and torgue is about 10% higher then before! The battery is the same as last years! It is one of the best single motor scooters out there in my opinion! Let me know if you have any more questions

One of the things they mention in the list of updated specifications are:
21700 Battery Cells. dvosknyc , do you know if they’ve been using 21700’s all along or if this is something new. It would help explain why the Cruiser is such an outlier in terms of range/lb etc.

Hickoryhurst , We haven’t got our hands on an updated Cruiser to test, but I expect we will before too long. The 2020 version took 4th place on our data-driven best scooters list. If you check out some of the graphs toward the end, the 2020 EMOVE puts up some impressive numbers for range vs price and range vs weight.

I’m looking to break into the scooter game and narrowed my choices to the Emove Cruiser, Apollo Explore and maybe the Ghost. For context I’m looking for a reliable, quick scooter to help with my commute which (post-COVID) will consist of a drive to the train station, train to Boston, then ferry across the harbor or a mile+ walk across the city. I would like a scoot to replace at least the ferry ride/ walk and occasionally the drive to the train station, but I need to be able to take the scooter on the train. I run about 220 lbs in full gear and can lift 50-65lbs no problem.
