ItsAqua Unfortunately Voro motors is out for me. I’m in Canada. They ship to Canada but charge high shipping fees. They act as a marketplace seller at Best Buy Canada, but even then they include the $200 shipping fee into the price of the scooter.

I can get a Mantis 10 pro plus from a seller here, it’s on sale There are a couple of Mantis models I can get for decent prices.

I’m hoping to get a scooter as soon as possible. Thanks to Apollo I’ve already missed a month of the short Canadian riding season. It’s been sunny and 80 degrees for the past few days.

Sorry you are in all this BS Cattitude. I’m currently going back and forth with Apollo because of an issue i have with the throttle on my Phantom. It runs but it sticks, and its super sensitive launching me if I’m in Sport mode. I installed the upgrade kit and got an error code 8 (throttle issue). So… I put all the old parts back on again so it runs, Getting on 2 weeks now of waiting for their assistance for a solution. Thank god I have a second scooter.

PaulN Welcome to the quicksand that is Apollo “customer service”! One thing I learned was to give them a maximum of 2 days to do anything, otherwise it never gets done. That’s why it took from May 3 until today to get my issue resolved. Just keep pounding them with emails until they do things. Don’t use their chat. That way you have a record of everything they promise. If I hadn’t kept a record of their promise to let me have a refund or exchange, I’d have been screwed out of over $2000.

Good news is that Apollo issued my refund today. The loan company still owes me 2 months of payments I made, but they sent me an email to confirm the loan is cancelled and they’ll refund the payments within the next few days. Now I can buy another scooter. I spent the weekend looking at different models, I even created a spreadsheet with stats, prices etc. I’m really sold on the Dualtron City. I found videos of it over the weekend. Everyone described the ride as “buttery smooth” and talked about how it feels safer because of the big wheels and long wheelbase.

Cattitude that’s awesome that they refunded you the money. I heard that the dualtron city is amazing especially for city cruising hence the name city.

interesting choice with the 15 " wheels, That looks good and will be a good cruiser for sure. It looks like a bigger version of the Bluetran Lightening that I like.

Cattitude That is great news and a good to hear. I think you made a good choice feature wise. I have watched a lot of scooter content on YouTube, I don’t recall seeing that model before. I can only imagine the 15″ tires handling our GTA’ s crumbling roads and paths better. You will be sitting higher up with a greater ground clearance. A little different ride I’m sure. Dualtron is a good brand too. Where do they carry Dualtron here?

PaulN Minimotorscanada.com, they’re located on Queen Street but they don’t have a storefront. They don’t carry all of the Dualtron models but they have a lot of them. They also have some decent accessories including PMT tires and stem risers/adaptors for solid handlebars. They also sell Armor Dilloz tire slime. They are the cheapest place for Dualtrons in Canada. They charge the US dollar amount listed on American sites, but in Canadian dollars.

I found several videos about the Dualtron City. This model was just released a few months ago, so there aren’t many videos yet. Most of what I found came from Europe - two videos in French and one from Spain. There were a couple from a guy in the US as well. They all raved about this model, and one of the videos features the rider taking his hand off the handlebars while he was going at 40 kph, to show how stable this scooter is. He was able to get it up to over 70 kph. Another good feature is that the battery is removable. I could take it with me if I had to lock the scooter somewhere, and if the battery wears out it can easily be replaced. I’m not planning on buying a second battery (for range) right now because they cost about $1000. A fast charger is only $150. I also found out that the wheel size is compatible with a wide variety of tires. It comes with tubeless tires and split rims. And, I should be able to reach the valve to slime the tires without taking the wheel apart, unlike the Ghost.
