What’s the difference between the 2?

I don’t see anything specific on the internet explaining this, however the way it worked on Version 1 (2021) was the Pro had a bigger and name brand battery 24.5 A/hr, and Hydraulic brakes. Both IMO are important and for the $300 extra at that time, a smart purchase.
The V2 ads a built in headlight which it really needed, also a claimed splash protection / water resistance (“With a new lighting package, full hydraulic brakes, and IPx5 waterproofing,”) but i would be wary of this as no manufacturer will warranty water damage.
From what I see on the Fluid free Website is the “V2” has the 18.5 A/hr battery. but it does have the hydraulic breaks, the Pro mentions the bigger battery and a black color scheme on an Australian website…
Overall this is a great scooter except the stem latching clamp. Very quick, very easy to maneuver, super long range (24.5 battery) if you don’t punch it constantly in 2 wheel turbo mode, mine has be very reliable from day one.

@“PaulN” With IP X5 they can’t offer a garantee, I’d think. 5 isn’t waterproof, it only protects somewhat.

DonL None of the manufactures offer a water damage warranty. It’s like a vague “gives you the impression” that you can go through some water, but not really a spelled out definitive amount.

DonL Even with IP54 (IP54 enclosures have a high level of protection against particles, and a fair amount of protection against water.) and higher people are still having their scooters die. Just look at this post for example. It’s typical of what happens to an electric scooter when. If it’s wet out I’m not riding, It’s that simple for me. I don’t want a $2500.00 boat anchor because i was stubborn.

Regardless of what manufacturers claim for a ip rating never believe them. Always assume it doesn’t have a water resistance rating because some of them don’t even though they claim they do. Until scooter manufacturers make full on water proof scooters and actually have a warranty that covers water damage, I recommend never riding in the rain. It’s very weird how scooter manufacturers claim that the scooter has this ip rating and how you can ride it in certain wet conditions but won’t cover any water damage no matter how strong they claim the ip rating is.

ItsAqua actual i found out vendor who offers waterproofing with warranty. basicaly you pay 999 EUR and after hidroisolation on scooter they give warranty that scooter is water proof for one year.

By all means if you want to pay $1000.00 USD for one years protection (unless of course 2 weeks into it you have an issue and have to open the deck) because surely that will void the 1 year warranty, If that is worth it to do that - i don’t know.

I have a jet ski as well, it’s designed and engineered for the water, Scooters are just not there yet. Just use common sense when you get your scooter. If your manual clearly states that the warranty is void if the scooter shows water damage, then why risk it?

PaulN Not all of us live in suny california where is not winter and no rain 🙂
most of these devices i think is designed for suny asia or something.
about that opening deck i think if its in their service center and you pay for doing hidroisolation again u dont need pay extra 1000 euro but good point xd
but considering battery cost 2000 EUR then its somehow investment.
