So I’m 62. Pretty good physical condition. Don’t need the scooter for commuting but really want to be outside more than I am and NOT interested in ebikes.
I don’t want to start with the low end model because what will I do with it in a month when I’ve out grown it. I don’t want to spend $3-4k for say Wolf Warrior or a scooter that goes 60mph or more totally cool but I think I’m past my prime for that.
The Mantis V2… yes powerful, fast (but doesn’t need to be), seems like the right model. Dual motor to get me going when I need, great suspension, hydronic breaks, wide deck, lots of lighting and ADJUSTABLE POWER so I can start out slow and have the built in upgrade when I’m ready.
It’s beefy but not so freakin heavy that I need a fork lift to get it up the stairs or into the back of my Outback.
Sounds like I’m already sold right? … I haven’t pulled the trigger yet but will soon. Help. What else should I be looking out for. Is this TOO MUCH scooter? Are there other quality models that have this kind of get up and go where I can grow into? Really appreciate any advice.
