Hello, I am new here. Just bought an EMove Touring and am awaiting delivery. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if there were any riders near the Danville, VA or Greensboro, NC area. I really love browsing this forum and seeing the cool pictures and awesome rides people have.

Just as an update, I also bought an Apollo Explore. I had always planned to get two so my wife and I could ride together. I test drove a few. I really liked the Explore as a slightly more capable intro scooter. I rode about 5 miles today just to play around with it. I didn’t want to venture too far away so I could see if the UPS guy was coming. The Touring should be here today.

I think you’ll love the Explore. I have the Apollo City (last year’s version so the kid brother of the Explore). I love everything about it except I’d like a little bit more range, so the Explore is probably next on my list.

conurejade Thanks! So far I do. I was considering the EMove Cruiser because of the range it has but I realized the Explore would cover my range needs for quite a while. I tested the EMove Touring and Cruiser, the Dualtron Mini, Fluid Horizon, Apollo Phantom, and Inokim OX Super. I liked all of them but the Horizon, which was actually the one I was going to order first. I’m glad I didn’t. The Phantom and OX were both great but the Explore handlebars fold and it’s cheaper. If I find that this is something I stick with long-term, those might be contenders.

I don’t think you will miss the extra 20 lbs of the Cruiser

Tips for Touring:
-Check the bolts at the base of the stem to make sure they are tight, mine were a bit too loose and the handle bars kept coming off center.
-Also be gentile with the locking pin and don’t just slam it in place, if it breaks you are in a spot of trouble.
-Save yourself headache and use slime right off the bat.

I actually boxed it up and sent it back (The Touring). It had much more wrong with it than a NEW scooter should have. I swore it was refurbished but they claimed it was definitely new. I have plenty of pictures and video of the damage/oddities but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt for the time being. I am supposed to get a full refund due to the issues. I may buy the same model again and hope for a better one or just go with something else entirely. I still do like the scooter.

PilotEric if it came damages then it could be refurbished because Voro motors replaces what they can on used scooters before they sell it. There’s a video about it by scootopia. It might have gotten damaged during shipping but Voro motors does do a check up routine on all new scooter they get meaning that they actually test drive the scooters to find any defects.

ItsAqua Honestly they were pretty great through the whole process which is why I may end up just ordering another one. The fender damage could have easily been the shipping damage. There was also silicone on the bottom of the fender meant to hold the reflector in but it had failed and it was still loose. Again, probably something they attempted to fix during a QC inspection.
