Has anyone ever heard of the brand Talenic and own one. The brand seems way too good to be true but there are literally no reviews on the scooters and the only videos you can find are advertising videos made by the company.

All use the same frame. some will have the grip tape in different places. Others will have a upgraded screen and other will use the QS-S4 with a finger or thumb throttle. Most will have speed dampeners on them to limit your max speed. Some have different steering column (round or square) and other have a different locking mechanism for the handle bars. I have even seen some remakes with folding handle bars.

Get a fame you like and you can alter the scooter in tons of ways.

Speed = Volts + Motor wattage
and those can both be upgraded.

1: Frame you like that is easy to work on
2: Battery distance (they advertise how far it goes if you use the scooter in the lowest setting and single motor so it is much much less when you use the high settings and dual motor)
3: Available upgrades through the company you plan to buy from
4: the company reviews… some of them you get your purchases 1-3 months later and their customer service is bad bad bad

They advertise this scooter type quite well. They slam it into a wall several times and bash it into the ground. generally beat it like a read headed step child.

Then stand on it and ride off camera like nothing happened.

If you want durable that seems to be their branding

I was asking myself the same question. In a span of 2 weeks I’ve gone from being set on the VSETT 10+ to the Apollo Phantom v2 to the Inokim OXO and realized that the Talenic TNX family are solid. The TNX3 and 2 are fast, tons of range, great suspension, and a superior LED dash to boot. I just ordered mine which cost a fraction of what the OXO or Phantom costs with similar specs, at a cost-savings.

I’m still skeptical about it because many scooters that offer this type of power and range would cost double the amount of the Talenic scooters. The scooter brand Yume and Qiewa offers high power and high range for a lower price than high end but a few big name scooter youtubers have review theses scooters and gave their opinions on it so they have been verified. However, Talenic scooters has literally no review on YouTube except their own advertisement video and you really can’t any reviews on the internet about them either. I read some reviews about Yume and Qiewa scooters and how they’re half the cost of a regular scooter in that category. They use the lead acid batteries which are inexpensive and the parts the use like the controller and the grips and things like that. I think Talenic is the same but I don’t own one so I can’t say anything for certain. When you receive your scooter please tell me your opinion on it and test out their warranty and customer service. I know it’s a lot to request

I got my TN-X3 and it is awesome, actually it is scary. The speed is incredible. I live in NYC and it is what I needed. A scooter with performance and off-road capable. They supported me well.

ItsAqua We didn’t sell many TN-X series scooters and customers only leave bad reviews on the internet if they meet a bad experience with Talenic company and scooters. you need equipment to do a video review. Normal customers do even not reply to the email when we send them an invitation letter to do the review.

ItsAqua Bro, I ordered a scooter from them on September 2… It’s October 3 and I still haven’t gotten a tracking number from them. I have been constantly emailing them asking for more information on why my order is delayed and they kept saying “we will get back to you within one business day” but then they don’t. They then told me they’ll send a TN-x1 which is better than what i ordered. However, theyre still not responsive and I still have not gotten a tracking number even though they said they shipped it on friday September 23. Their customer service is ridiculous. And i have no idea what to do on getting this scooter.

I wouldn’t expect you to change your opinion based on my review. I’m currently a Ninebot Max owner (2 actually) and I was asked to review the TN-90 because I’m an active contributor on the Reddit forum. I agreed to write a review based on my experience with the scooter and I highlighted what I believe to be the strengths and weaknesses of the scooter. That was my only objective here.

No range test done, it seems. Just quoting the rated range and a guesstimate? I tested my scooters speed via gps tracking and got pretty close under good conditions. Might also be good to describe the tyres a bit (tubeless) without having to look at the manufacturer (and to doublecheck maybe.

Correct, my range was a guesstimate based on doing a 24 mile trip starting with a full battery and looking at remaining voltage. But my review was intended to be a “first impression”, not an extensive review. As I said, I’ve only put about 100 miles on it so far, which is not really enough time to get to know the scooter really well. I’ll continue to ride it and post updates as I learn more.

just as something i would be looking for, a real test and although i cannot look at the voltage, it would drop a bit more than it should. I just did a range test with:

Gotrax XR (5.2Ah, 36V) and after 8.22 km dead and walked home a bit. When i first got it, with air filled tyres, it died around 12km and last year around 9km. Today, battery was like “ah, you have still half left, all good” when turning around. But this is different than your case.

Also, i had a bit trouble with the locking mechanism at first before adjusting etc pp.

Not gonna lie the specs of the Talenic scooters are convincing but until ESG reviews them I’m still skeptical.

ItsAqua Thank you for your viewpoint. The specs are all real specs if the specifications do not match real products we will have the issue.

But the range for TN-X series depends on how fast you ride the scooter.

If you ride it with only one motor drive it will last a much longer distance.

If you ride it with dual-wheel drive the range will be shorter.

OCR1 No problem relive made it super easy for me to track my miles but the speed is always off for me but I’m not using it for speed just using it to track my distant and it’s super helpful.

I’ve put 41 miles on the TN-90 now. Battery voltage started off at 67.5 (full charge). After 41 miles it’s dropped to 58. The battery meter on the QS display shows about 50% remaining but I’m wondering if that’s not accurate. Does anyone know what voltage I should be looking for to tell me it’s time to stop riding. I’m reluctant to keep doing long rides as I don’t want to get stuck ten miles from my home with no power and have to kick it all the way home.

So, it is a 60V battery? Then it depends how far down you want to go. 52V for 20% charge left and then charge again. Or…. 49V?
Also: Voltage after letting it rest for a minute so it can “recover” without voltage drop under load might be a good guide.

Thanks. I’ve put 50 miles on the TN-90. Voltage started at 67.5 (100%) and is now showing 57V. According to your chart that would suggest I have almost 50% battery remaining. The battery gauge on the display is showing about ⅓ remaining. The manufacturer stated range is about 62 miles so I’m not sure what to make of this data. Something seems off.
