Unagi Modle One vs Xiaomi m365 Pro

I bought 2 Unagi Model One’s at Costco for $650 each. They are still in the boxes…

Then I went home and did some research on this site. I decided a Xiaomi m365 Pro would have been my pick based on what I’m looking for.

The problem is I can’t find the Xiaomi for sale and the price seems to be all over the place. If I can get them for $400 each that would save me $500. At $500 each I would still save $300.

Is the Unagi $300-$500 better than the Xiaomi?
Any opinons?

From what I know Unagi are high quality scooters with higher speed compare to the Xiaomi. The Xiaomi offers more range than the Unagi but the Unagi offers more power. If you’re looking for range the Xiaomi would be your choice if you’re looking for power, the Unagi would be the better choice. If you want both range and speed, you could try other scooters
Unagi- 20 mph with 15 mile range
Xiaomi m365- 15 mph with 18 mile range

chiefmeat68 I really don’t know but I can offer you a alternative to the Xiaomi 365 pro. It’s the Hiboy brand. They’re a pretty decent scooter brand. I own the S2R and it rides pretty decent for me. Most of their scooters goes up to 19 mph on the display but real life speed is 18 mph. I am a 160lbs rider so I get around 12 miles. They advertise 12-17 miles for most of their scooters. I would also check out the Segway E45 on REVRides. I’m not exactly sure what kind of scooter will fit your needs but I can offer you some scooters brands and models.

So, I ended up finding a knock-off version of the Xiaomi… the Aovo m365 Pro. It looks identical to the Xiaomi but has airless tires and supposedly a bigger battery. I was planning to get some airless tires anyway because we have goat head thorns everywhere around here. I found several reviews that claim it is even better or an “upgrade” to the Xiaomi. I have my doubts, but I bought it with a coupon for $285. At that price I figure that even if it sucks my kids will still use it. If it is awesome, I’ll get another and take back the Unagi’s.

If anybody has tried a Aovo m365 Pro let me know what you think.

chiefmeat68 I’m glad you found a scooter that suits you. I would’ve personally recommended the Hiboy brand because people are always saying it’s the Xiaomi alternative. I own a Hiboy S2R
