Hi, does anyone know when Voro may release the EMOVE Cruiser 2022 version? I heard the 2021 version was released in March 2021 (I think). Not sure which month the 2020 version was released. Any insight is appreciated.
I haven’t heard if there will be a revision for 2022. Have you tried reaching out to Voro Motors, to see if they have anything to reveal?
Thank you DrScootLittle! Voro said an update is planned for 2022 but didn’t offer specifics. Sounds like we’ll have to remain in suspense! 🙂
I wonder how it will top the 2021 version. Was planning to get the 2021 version for Christmas but if they are releasing the 2022 version this year I’ll wait for it
Hi, there’s some information on their (very cluttered) website https://www.vrooomin.com/electric-scooter/emove/voro-motors-introduces-the-2021-emove-cruiser-62-mile-marathon-electric-scooter/
The main differences as far as I can see from a quick look at ESG’s review for the 2021 version is that the motor is now 1600W, up from 1000W, and the battery is larger.
The Cruiser is in my sights too – I live in a really hilly city and I’m rapidly learning that you need a lot of watts to cope with the hills here!
I’ll just wait until the new cruiser comes out because some of the information doesn’t make the 2022 cruiser sound new like top speed and range. Voro motors website say 1600w but if you scroll down it’s 1000w. And the new color options isn’t really new…..
ItsAqua I really want to see the mini motor controller display throttle aka EY3 throttle on the Emove cruiser
I sent an email to PET (the Emove dealer in London) about this. They replied saying it’s 1000W nominal and 1600W peak. I wish really sites and dealers could always say explicitly what they mean by motor power. My own scooter varies between 500 and 1000W depending on what website you look at 🙂
I really want to know what upgrades they’re going to the Emove Cruiser because the current one has a few changes that made the cruiser better but I hoping they can upgrade the IP rating to a 67 instead of IPX6.
