Sorry to hear it Rebecca. I would try deleting and re-installing the app on your phone. I’d also see if you can get to the main battery cable to unplug it and plug it back in.
If the firmware to the scooter itself got corrupted during the update, it really could be stuck. Hopefully the manufacturer or distributor can advise you. The good news is it should be under warranty, if you can get them to respond. It looks like they have warehouses in CA and Texas, so hopefully they have US based support too. Keep trying them daily.
