Hi everyone, I am seriously considering buying a scooter to solve my mobility issues. I’ve done some basic research but I’ve never ridden a scooter yet. I’d really love to talk with owners before really committing to buy. I am based in Berkeley and I notice many people here are close-by (including some of the staff).
I am looking for someone kind enough to spare 30-40 mins for me and meet up. Ideally I’d like to:
- Clarify some doubts I have on living and commuting with a scooter.
- Get advise on the best model based on my needs/budget
- If at all possible, try a ride to get a feeling for it (committing to take full responsibility on whatever might happen while I do it)
It’s a substantial purchase, I need to know it’s the right one for me and I’m not going to waste money. Hope you understand.
