I’d also like to contribute here by encouraging people to buy directly from stores in your country. So, if something happens, you can ask for a warranty.
I want to share a bad experience I had recently. I found a 350 W scooter in Alibaba (I was a newie there), having a brand name I’d never heard from before called TSMINE. – store: Shanghai Magic Wheels Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. (magicwheels.en.alibaba.com). I found some good reviews on Alibaba, and the company seemed to be safe. So I decided to buy it. I paid $270
Later, it was a nightmare: they sent me a different brand called askmy, with other specs. 250W, no Bluetooth, etc., the scooter arrived broken; it did not turn on after 3 weeks. I contacted the company, but they were very aggressive. I escalated the problem through Alibaba, but they were biased toward the seller. The end of the dispute process was a joke. Neither did they not compensate me nor change the defective scooter. I lost $270
