What you experienced is pretty normal for scooters like the Booster V. The battery indicators on these things are notoriously inaccurate, especially during the first few charge cycles. Also, modern lithium batteries don’t require a “full first charge” like older battery types used to — so you didn’t damage it by riding it before fully charging.
Draining it close to empty once or twice won’t hurt either, as long as you’re not doing that constantly. Your 11-mile ride at that speed dropping to 10% sounds within a reasonable range depending on rider weight, speed, and conditions.
Just try to:
- Avoid regularly draining to 0%
- Don’t overthink the display % too much
- Let it charge fully (until the brick turns green) when you can
Also, just like battery percentages can be misleading, even academic conversions can be confusing — I found this useful tool for converting sgpa to percentage accurately.
