Thanks. Unfortunately I am now getting the run around by the manufacturer in China. They have promised me a new battery for several weeks now and have continued to tell me it was on it’s way. Now I’ve learned it hasn’t even been shipped yet. What a mistake I made purchasing from the manufacturer in China. I had no idea that I had. The scooter was sent to me out of their warehouse in CA. Dealing with them started out well but now it’s like pulling teeth trying to get them to send it. It’s been one promise and one excuse after the other. It wouldn’t surprise me now if they ever send one. They told me last night (they’re 14 hours ahead) that they can’t find a carrier to deliver it. I told them to use UPS, Fed Ex or the US postal service and they said it was a battery. UPS told me of course they will ship a scooter battery. Now I’m not even sure given all the safety guidelines in place what to believe. But I know millions of batteries are shipped by companies each day all over the world. Do you know if this has any truth to it or are they playing more games with me? If not one of those three then who? I’ve had it with them. I’m about ready to purchase my own and say the hell with them. I contacted my bank and stand a good chance having a charge back issued me. I’ve also reported them to Consumer Affairs Fraud Division. I didn’t realize dealing with China and other foreign countries was this tough. From what I understand it’s quiet common for them to disregard any extended warranty you may have with them. I am furious over this and will never do it again. Had I been smart I would have waited until the seller on Amazon got more of them in stock and bought from them. At least I would have had someone from the states upholding my 12 to 24 month warranty. Live and learn. Any suggestions to make them step up to the plate and honor this warranty? They have my money and it appears that’s all that matters to them.

Hey guy. The company has finally got me a new battery being shipped. It’s scheduled to arrive Friday. Something just tells me that the battery will charge up to around 87 but like the one I currently have will die on me when it gets to 62. Right now it charges to 84 and shuts off at 82 or 83. If this happens again do you have any idea what might be causing it not to run until it gets to 52 to 54? What would I need to look at next. But a new battery might do the trick. I’m just not sure.

With your current battery, it could be many things, BMS, bad group of cells. If the new battery ‘is the same’ then the issue is elsewhere. But you wont know this till you get the new battery.

What do you mean it only charges to 87? (you mean % or you mean the voltage readout? Cos yours is a 60v scooter right? meaning the Voltage display should only read to 67.2 when fully charged and should be able to fun down to 52-54 pendng how the BMSis set up)

Hopefully the new battery is good and fixes it

So my Weped FS battery had a comprimised group of cells, which as causing my to shutdown at 75v (where it should run to 68v or there abouts)
its being fixes as we speak, hopefully ready in the newx few days

Tim, got the new battery in and it only charged to 64.4. I rode it and it died on me after about 7 to 9 miles at 61.1. It’s like pulling teeth dealing with these people in China. I’ve asked my bank for a cash back. Waiting to hear. I have no idea what’s wrong with this thing. I think I’m going to go ahead and buy the Yume X7 8,000W, 72V, 50Ah. I’ve done a lot of research on them and they are very popular in other countries and used widely as a means of transportation. They do have a lot of power. But I enjoyed mine most of the day while it worked. It is unbelievable how fast it will climb steep inclines. I mean it will fly up the steepest hill imaginable. My driveway is very long and almost straight up. I pop that thing in dual drive and don’t even need turbo on to get up it. If I went any faster I’d wreck. That’s how fast this thing is. I did 40mph easily on top of the mountain today where I live and still had a lot more to go. But, I’m still kind of afraid of it cause it will get going before you know it. I can only imagine how much faster 72V, 8,000 W will do. Hope all is well your way.

Damn, Sorry to hear this man, So it has to be another issue….. Do the supppliers have any other insight or ideas what it could be?
You could go an buy another scooter, the Yume seem to get a good wrap, why not, there local places to buy in US right? Then maybe see if you can get this one fixed in the mean time? How much are the Yume?

I got my battery back for my Weped FS and it had a whole group of cells replaced, so far it seems to have fixed the issue, as it dodesnt cut out at 75v now, ive run mine down to 71 and i’ll change it back up today and see how it does from full change.

YUME X-7 / 72V 8000WATTS / 50-75 MILE RANGE / 45-60+MPH / DUAL MOTOR / VACUUM TIRES. It’s right at $2,700. It’s quiet fast or as fast as I want to go on one that’s for sure. I hope you get your issue worked out. Sounds like it. I found an e-bike repair shop here in Birmingham and they’re going to take a look at it. I’m satisfied with the scooter itself if I just didn’t have this loss of power going on. It seems to be well built and rides smooth. The Yume has high ratings. People seem to have good luck with them. But, they’re all going to have issues at one point or another and good customer service is a must. I’ve filed a cash back with my bank as they’re refusing to issue a refund and have yet to send me a new one. These brakes grab too much. I’m unable to ease them on slowing or coming to a stop. But I’m sure they can be adjusted I just don’t know how to do it. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I currently have the exact same issue on my scooter I just bought. First ride out going up hills and it died. It is a Qiewa Q Power. Dual 60V 2800W motors. 60V 30AH battery. It keeps hitting the low voltage cutoff. In my P settings it is set to 46V. I am also having issues communicating with them in China. Did you get your issue resolved? I wish I woulda just paid extra and bough something in the US.

I have nearly the same problem on my Zero 11x at first the BMS shut off the battery when it reached 71v, but now after I changed the tire size from an 11 inch off road tires to a 12 inch racing slicks now the BMS shuts off the battery the moment I put any load on it that drops the voltage down a few volts. On the bench I can run both motors 98mph for as long as I want without the power shutting off, but the second I try to ride it the power just shuts down. Its a Panasonic 72v 26AH lithium-ion battery, only been recharged 10 to 15 times.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue, my thought is that it is the BMS, because the battery will change to 84V and maintain that voltage for several days or weeks so the cells are working, Somebody PLEASE HELP
