I’m a native of Denmark and when it comes to scooter laws, the politicians once again played uno with their heads up their ***** - Something they tend to do with just about everything they don’t have a personal interested in. Once in a while we will see someone change their mind and try to revert the law, only to find out they did so because their own situation changed and they now need the law changed.
as in most countries, I’d hope, you’re innocent until proven guilty. This doesnt apply to scooters as any scooter that is capable of speeds above 12mph are illigal and will be confiscated on site. It doesn’t matter if you’re riding at or under the speed limit, theyll take it nontheless. This is just bonkers in my oppinion and royally pisses me off.
As such I’m driving around on my wolf king on borrowed time until the coppers one day notice the scooter and with the king alongside full protective gear with motor cycle helmet it’s quite conspicuous that it’s not a childrens scooter.
A few weeks ago a friend of had his mantis confiscated while walking with it next to him. They asked him what speeds it could reach and he said about 25mph thinking that he was walking for one and secondly that 25mph wasnt that bad. apparently it was and this is even though high speed scooters are allowed on privat property, which he unfortunately wasnt.
Yesterday a local news paper had a small story about another driver having his scooter confiscated as he was driving like a madman of up to 20 mph..
What are the laws on scooters in your country and what do you think about it ? do you live by that law or are you acting against it?
