Actual weight of the 2021 Emove Cruiser?

Does anyone now the actual weight of the 2021 Emove Cruiser? In the ESG deep dive they say it’s ₅ lbs heavier than the old one, and postulate that it’s because the new motor is heavier.

But the specs are still listed at 52 lbs, and I chatted with Voro and they assure me the weight did not change. The 2021 motor and overall scooter are exactly the same weight - 52 lbs.

Who is wrong?

So do you think Voro is just misinformed? Is there someone there to contact who could inform their chat agents to stop giving out misinformation?

Matto They might be referring to the 2020 -> 2021 version not changing, but as @DrScootLittle mentioned, the Cruiser put on some weight since 2019. @melvin from VORO motors is on these forums, and he is the guy to fix things up.

And our 2019 version weighed in at 54.2 on the same scale, with the same equipment installed.

I’m pretty sure that most distributors go with the weight quoted to them by the factory that’s assembling them since it’s usually pretty close to the actual weight. From time to time we hit on some large discrepancies though.

I’ve recently checked the ESG labs digital scooter-scale against two other digital scales and the were all in agreement with each other.
