I am the host of the Electric Scooter Podcast and one of the things I enjoy talking about is traveling with Scooters. In fact, I am currently overseas in a country where electric scooters are scarce but it would be perfect if I had one right now! I am considering the Levy because you can remove the battery, place it in your backpack, and put the scooter in a duffel bag for check in. If anyone has experience with the Levy or any other scooter that they have brought on an airplane I am keen to hear your story. I called both United Airlines and TSA and they both told me there should be no issue with the Levy due to the size of the lithium battery being just under what you are allowed to take onboard an airplane. Still, I am concerned that when I show up in real life I will get some sort of a hassle, particularly going overseas.
