As soon as you add a second motor the weight goes up considerably. On my end that was a barrier that prevented me from buying most of the scooters that have good suspension GRRRR… Just like you Bill, the cracks in the sidewalks, roads, were killing my back and joints. that’s why I decided to pay more and get a scooter with offroad like suspension (DrScootLittle what is the correct name for this type of suspension? You know, where the front wheel looks like it’s mounted backwards, like the QUICK 4 and all offroad scooters).
Now WHY (oh WHY) can’t they make a scooter that is easy to ride, relaxing to ride and comfortable? Not fast, but comfortable and high quality. Seems as soon as you go up in quality all you find are adrenaline inducing scooters that spend half of their time trying to kill you LOL. Way too aggressive and not that enjoyable to ride for simple tourism, sightseeing (sigh), and way too heavy to load into a car. (for me)
I let one of the e-scooter store sales person test ride my QUICK 4 today, and he put it in Turbo mode, he came back and said “WOW, that’s crazy!!!”. He was shocked by the aggressive response of the throttle. So I guess it’s not just me LOL. Then again I only ride ECO and even that is too much.
