Justin didn’t mention that Uscooter GT SE has solid tires, it bumps a lot in Manhattan.
I regret to have bought this scooter, also paid plus $100 for a useless Bluetooth. If you want it, save your money and buy GT.
The Uscooter customer support is horrible, disgusting. They are not professional, the worse customer support I had in the USA. The main reason I want now to sell the scooter after just 40 days. And maybe I should publish here the messages I received from Edgard and Scott?
In my first week riding the scooter, I almost broke the magnetic brake wire because it grabbed in the scooter lock when it was folded. After some insistence calling the support, finally, Edgard called me and give me the address of a dealer to fix the Wire, he asked me to call him back when I visited the store. I did it and he didn’t answer my calls and messages, I was asking if the warranty should cover the $50 the dealer ( MiniMotorsBrooklyn )charged me. I paid $986 for this scooter( this scooter guide let me receive $100 as a discount), plus this $50, it’s not cheap, and the customer support should be decent. A company that treats the customer in this abominable way should not exist. It was September 20.
In the first week of October, The magnetic brake, which is very good as the reviews described, stopped working well, being just reasonable like the rear brake. I was forced to message again this “support”, and I received a sequence of disgusting messages. Scott ended by saying that don’t understand the brake issue, but the Brooklyn dealer can’t fix it, so said that I need to ship the scooter back to Uscooters! My desire is just to ask a few friends that work at the FBI to investigate this company, Uscooters, because the corruption ( absence of manners, rudeness is also a signal of corruption, degradation ) of these little guys may indicate that the company has other levels of corruption.
Instead, ship the scooter back for these assholes, I want now just to sell this scooter, recover part of my investment, because I bought this scooter to saving money with the subway, and expecting durability as Justin said. Would you like to buy my Scooter, Mr. Mike? it’s almost new. It’s faster, light to carry on the bus, perhaps the better scooter to carry in the bus. Despite I already invested more than $1000, I think I will sell it around $840. I’m also in NJ, at Weehawken.
