This is indeed a confusing situation. I have also been searching, and it appears that the ‘Mantis 8’ with dual 500W motors is not a standard Kaabo model.
There is the Mantis 8 (usually with a single 800W motor) or the old Mantis 8 Pro (dual 800W). 500W sounds unusual, perhaps it is some kind of regional version or, as you say, a ‘fake’ that uses the Mantis name. I would be cautious and only trust official dealers.
