Any portable scooter for adult and kid. Or with 2 seats for adult and kid? Both combine weighting less than 200lbs.

ooleum If you’re a first time scooter buyer I recommend the Segway Ninebot Max (for one-up riding) due to all around usability, price and low maintenance. For portability it depends on your price range.

Only one I know of is Bogo who has a 2-person electric scooter for the shared market. It looks … interesting. Not too comfortable for the rear rider though, but probably safer than going tandem on a normal e-scooter.

I cannot recommend two-up on a scooter, especially with a child because it throws your balance off. A nurse in Paris killed a tourist when she was riding 2 up a few months ago. Maybe an e-bike with a seat over the rear tire? I own scooters but for rare 2 up occasions that’s the setup I use. As an option buy the kid their own scooter & cool looking helmet and you’ll both have more fun!
