Fluid Free Ride Advice Plz

Hi All…I’m a newbie for sure..I just bought a GoTrax XR Elite and HiBoy S2 Pro for my boys to play on…and lo and behold I got hooked. So I found exactly what I’m looking for and the only place I could find it was Fluid Free Rides. The Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Base is my next purchase. I don’t want the Pro…I don’t need the extra battery life….and not for $300+ more. So the Wolf X is listed here at $1799…top of my price range. Come to find that it was $1899 at FFF but I found a $25 code that worked. I added it to my cart last night and then realized I wasn’t sure if I could pay with 3 different cards (I have 2 Rewards Cards with a decent amount on them…and then the rest of my cc). I followed the prompt on their site to text them with any pre-purchase questions. I waited a full day and didn’t hear back. So today I go to my cart to find that the price of the Wolf X is now $1999! : ( It literally changed in my cart overnight! So needless to say I’m not thrilled lol..now my dream ride is $200 more than I thought it would be within 24hrs. So what can you veterans tell me about FFF? Are they trustworthy? Do you think they would possibly honor the price? Do they ever do Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals? IS there anywhere else that sells the WW X Base? Thanks for your insight!

Deanwam8 They have had pretty good BF deals in the past, but you never know what it will be this year.

I would reach out about price change and see if they’ll give you the original price. Otherwise wait and see what they offer for Black Friday ( for past two years they’ve have a lot of deals that involve buying 2 scooters, so might not be ideal for you).

FFR is one of the big, legit, non fly-by-night retailers in US. They have their share of complaints, but overall we think they’re doing a good job in a new industry that’s going to have challenges (new product issues, recalls etc).

justin This is a great response…very helpful. I appreciate it. I’m a bit disheartened that I still cannot raise anyone on the phone and no one has responded to my 3 day old text or 2 day old email and phone message yet…but I appreciate your insight that they seem to be a solid company. Regardless of outcome, I just hope someone decides to respond to my multiple lines of communication….my pet peeve is when a company “conveniently” ignores multiple attempts to reach out. Thanks again.

I just posted in another thread about Freeride. I didn’t end up buying from them, but spent ALOT of time online reading feedback from customers. My findings: they are good most of the time. They sell ALOT and screw up enough to piss people off. They almost always make it right, but you might find some vocal haters online. Did you ever hear from them?

Aero999 Thanks for your feedback! It took a bit of back and forth between a customer service rep and someone in management but they just emailed me back today. They unfortunately will not allow me to use more than one card to pay for it (oh well….I kind of expected that) but most importantly the manager “Adam” agreed to honor the original price for the WWX. I think this goes a long way in my mind to trying to provide good customer service. He said they would def be having Black Friday deals but did not know what they would be yet. I really appreciated his transparency and most of all…honoring my original price. I just wish someone had called me earlier instead of a week of emails back and forth..but no prob. I have also read about some “mistakes” from them (like shipping a Kaabo charger with an Appolo scooter) but if they are dealing with high volume, it’s to be expected from time to time and what matters most is that they make it right, which I think they typically do. So now I just have to decide if I’m going to pull the trigger on the WWX!
