I bought the splach ranger about a year ago. I received the scooter, in decent time. Esg discount honored, no tax, no shipping, so i had a decent experience. Customer service email was answered. I believe this was one of the crowd funded startups, but i had good luck. I ride the splach every weekend, getting 23 mph (i’m 170 lbs), range unknown but (12 miles at 100% power p-settug on mode 3, my gauge reads 50% power left), slow initially going up the manhattan bridge building up to 13 mph in several seconds. Front pneumatic is comfortable but the rear solid tire even with suspension is hard (riding on the ball of my foot absorbs the hard hits). It weighs 48 lbs, the folding stem locks into place with folded handlebars it’s manageable up 2 flights, but not easy,. Taking the splach to a manhattan park to play racquetball got attention of a few players who are tiring of driving and looking for parking. I was asked about speed and range, even test riding this escooter. I told them about ESG website and the discount coupons offered. Thanks ESG, reviewed as a frankenscooter for the decents parts from everywhere put into the splach I’m ultimately pleased with it.
