Hi Brian,, I would contact Apollo directly through their website here where i live in Canada, Their head office is in Montreal. I’m going to post a link here to their main webpage if that is ok. Sometimes mods don’t allow that
https://apolloscooters.ca/
On the right hand side is a blue “Support” button click that and it will take you to chat and ask their “Zen” desk. Although they can be slow as I have painfully learned, they will respond and you will at some point get a positive reply that will help you out.
I don’t see the neck snapping outright under normal driving conditions. I drove mine quite a bit under on and off road conditions. The neck is fine. I would be a little more concerned about putting it through maybe some pounding jumps where all the weight would land towards the front solidly bottoming out the suspension. (I have heard the back bottom out but never the front on mine) I’m probably also a lighter rider. 180 lbs / 82 kgs with backpack and my armored jacket on.
At this time overall after my first few months dealing with Apollo, putting that aside, the 2nd scooter i got from them has been pretty good and i have not had any major quality issues so far that others have had. Time will tell though.
