Changing tires

I will pay 50.00 cash for someone who has experience changing a tire on a Apollo Phantom. There’s a video on YouTube of how to do it but I’m completely useless when it comes to mechanical problems. I have replacement inner tube but you’ll need to bring wrenches etc although almost everything needed came with the Apollo tool kit

ChrisBurgess Hey Chris! Our Apollo store in Gastown can do the change for you :-). The team will just need a day or two to change it, and Sunday is our final day open (closing for summer). We’re open every day until Sunday from 11-7pm at 348 Water Street!

The Apollo phantom has inner tubes !!?! I thought that was their only model that had tubeless tires…

Yep. For sure tubes. The factory ones are also quite thin. 80kms before my rear popped.

Over 500kms on the replacement so far and the front original has over 600kms on it. Slimed it after the rear popped though.

Took me 30mins to replace the rear. First time doing a scooter tire, but I’ve worked on many beater cars back in the day so was quite easy in comparison.

I hear ya. Who the hell wants tires with inner tubes… The tires are almost guaranteed to be thin. And the inner tubes on my bicycles have always been a train wreck.
