Buying advice

I’m kinda on the fence about two scoots. Emove cruiser 600w 52v 30ah or Varla Pegasus 2×500w 48v 15ah. I’m looking for something reliable and bulletproof. (For first scooter purchase, looking for advice/feedback/any ideas)

I can only go by MY preferences, if not looking at the price.

Weight: Emove cruiser (23kg) wins against Varla (30kg)
Range: Emove Cruiser (80km) wins against Varla (29km)
Speed: TIE
Dimensions: Emove Cruiser Wins (smaller footprint)
Tires: Emove Cruiser bigger, but tubeless pneumatic. Tie, despite better ride quality? You can get solid 10″ also, if a problem arises.
Motor: Hill climb says Varla wins
Water Resistant: IPX6 Emove Cruiser hands down

Soooo, for me, the motor is the only thing pro Varla, it is heavier, bulkier and much lower range, less water resistant. Emove has a telescopic stem AND foldable handle bars.

Yeah, for ME in MY current situation, Emove Cruiser (which is for 160kg persons vs. 130kg Varla, just as an added bonus).

However, precaution: i would get tire slime and slime the tires (if not already) AND get a new tire. Even if the range goes down 30% with solid crappy tires, still more than Varla…

I appreciate your advice. Yeah all tires wear out. The solid tires/ motor assembly would be a pain to buy and replace costing more in the end. I don’t want inner tube tires though. I have had nothing but problems with them on bicycles. The emove is tubeless… Also the Apollo phantom is tubeless. The ghost and other Apollo scooters are all inner tube with the exception of the phantom.

For a cheaper alternative, Emove Touring?
This has same range as the Varla, cheaper, 500W vs. 600 (Emove Cruiser). solid rear tire, but innertube pneumatic front (easy to replace i think, or easy enough, less prone to flats than rear tire). 18kg, btw. So, lighter than both Cruiser and Pegasus.

Obviously much slower, well, maybe that is still fast enough? How fast do you want to go, how fast are you legally allowed and Regina, Calgary etc… no scooters allowed, some provinces have 500W cut-off and 32km/h and everything above needs to be a motorcycle (then you are insured and can ride in those backwards cities, i wager).

e:/ Also, do you import to Canada or… stick with Canadian vendors? If the latter, that kinda kills the Emove.
