I’ve purchased 3 to date ‘chinese’ scooters from Alibaba over a 4 year period.
This is my quick take on the actualy product, not the service, warranty and so on.
The scooter body/frame are strong and heavy and perosnally never have I had an issue with any part of the frame, including suspension. (You can upgrade when buying these from china, but i recommend getting he scooter as is and making your own upgrades, esp to suspension parts, if you are that way inclided)
The battery and electrical, again, ive never had issues with, ive never choosen a ‘chinese battery’, ive always opted for Panasonic or above (LG and Samasung) - The scooter came pretty much thrown togeher and the cables are like a jungle, ive never had to do any major work or had many major issues with electric componets. Only plugs coming loose.
The motors/controllers thay rate as high Watt output and many of these are crazy fast scooters for what they are and for what you pay.
The only area I’ve had issues in is brakes, they use cheap components and really if buying these scooters is one of the frist thing you should ask for an upgrade whern buying or upgrade yourself. As many of these scooters can do speeds of a Wolf Warror, or Nami E burn or close to it.
My SK-11 REALMAX does 95km and gets there pretty quick, for $2000 AU - Its A 60V ‘8000W’ and has a 60ah Panasonic battery and i’ve had 140km out of one charge with a good 1-3v left in the tank…. This is cheap cheap buying and so far ‘touch wood’ been brilliant. Ive only upgraded the brakes to Nutt, thats all…
