I’m guessing you are in the UK. If you are in one of the bigger cities I’d say be careful, they seem to be cracking down on them at the moment, especially in London. I’m in a smaller town, population roughly 20,000 and I haven’t had any problems at all, I’ve ridden past the police on countless occasions and they haven’t given me a second glance. I think if you ride responsibly and are considerate to others you would be fine, if the local constabulary start getting complaints then that will likely change. Trying sticking to quieter side roads and bike paths, don’t ride on the pavements (sidewalks for our American friends) and if you are passing pedestrians try and give them as much notice that you are there as possible, if you go flying by and give them a fright then that’s when they decide to complain. Happy (and trouble free) scooting, they are great fun and a great way to commute 👍
