Ultraportable with a good suspension

I got the Unagi Model One in NYC but it is very bumpy on the bumpy new york streets. I don’t want something too heavy but want something that can silence some of the bumpy roads and make it a smoother ride without adding too much weight.

My partner has the inokim quick 4 and thats amazing but its too heavy for me. Any recommendations would be amazing. I really like the electric brake of the Unagi vs. hand brakes on the others as well.

Hi Addy,
I agree with @Calvin – the E-TWOW/UScooters GT 2020 and similar models (GT SE, Booster V, Booster Sport) are among the best for portability that also have suspension.

The various models have more or less battery / motor power with proportional cost. The GT 2020 and GT 2020 SE are the primo models that are the fastest and also have a handbrake included (in addition to the electronic and foot brake).

Weight is around 25-30 lbs and they fold super compactly.

I can’t think of any other model that will be as light, but also includes suspension. The E-TWOW/UScooters are also legendarily durable.

Take a look at e twow GT 2020. I have yet to find a better option with the combination of performance and portability.

What’s too heavy? I have a dual suspension splach ranger that weights under 50 lbs, a manageable struggle to carry up 2 flights of stairs from street level. It’s a decent e-scooter that cost me under $800. I reach about 23mph and i haven’t drained the batteries yet but i’ve ridden over 20 miles and still had ⅓ of the battery remaining if the gauge is correct.
