Hello! After watching and reading many reviews, and being influenced by a review that ESG made about the Uscooter GT SE ( uscooter just resell the Etwow scooter in the USA. And it’s not cheap: $1049! ) I decided to buy this scooter ( I was also very inclined to buy Emove Cruiser, that has good waterProof, but GT SE is more light and portable to carry in the bus, I commute from NJ to Manhattan, and the investment in the scooter is to avoid the costs with subway). Unfortunately, I had a problem with the brake wire in my first week with my First scooter, I contact the support… and it was terrible, Edgard that send the contact of a dealer to fix the problem (they charged me $50) never return my calls and messages where I asked if the warranty should cover the service. 2 weeks ago I had a new problem with the Brake, upon my request to another person attend me, this Scott answered my last messages, but keeping the same gross, unprofessional “support” . In my last message for this no-support, I mentioned the review from the electric-scooter guide that very well showed how the magnetic brake works much better than the rear brake, to illustrate what is happening now with me: the magnetic brake working equal to the not good rear brake. So I received this unbelievable answer from this Scott (someone can imagine support more gross and unprofessional)?
“We do not write reviews so not sure what you were expecting with the front magnetic brake. Reviewers give their opinions based on testing other scooters and ours if they say it is excellent that is their opinion. Customer feedback is tremendous on the braking so not much we can do to help you with that. It is something you will need to get used to just like every other customer. The magnetic brake will never be intense and will only slow you down so sending it in will not help. The Booster V has only has the front magnetic brake and rear fender brake and have sold 10’s of thousands of them so people are very happy with them. The GT that you have has 3 braking systems for a reason extra stopping power. For quick stops people use the rear drum brake and the front magnetic brake at the same time. Based on what you are saying there is nothing the technicians can do to enhance the front magnetic brakes. ”
how to answer this little middleman, little bureaucrat that main goal is to avoid requests from customers? (Uscooter resell the Etwow scooter in the USA, they are basically a middleman company, and this poor support means they just look to make money. ) ESG needs to evaluate customer support in the reviews. I’m very sad and I will probably try to sell this scooter soon.
