PeterWilson I agree that the inside looks a bit surprising … but I’m not sure it’s necessarily even bad.
I don’t know their numbers, but Rion is hand-building these scooters in a fairly small shop in Los Angeles.
I wouldn’t expect the the inside to look anything other than hand-built … battery construction is probably quite laborious with no automations, I’m guessing.
I somewhat wonder if internals for each build are a bit different, depending on how steady their supply chain is. If they are only building a handful of these, it wouldn’t surprise me if every Rion is a bit different on the inside.
I’m interested to see how the evolution of the Rion and its internals changes as the company grows.
