Vsett 10+r range discrepancies and charging questions

Questions:

I purchased the Vsett 10+r 28ah battery and fully charged the battery but only got 12 miles. I had one bar left at 12 miles, I was too scared to go any further so I turned around. I am 6′ 240 but only ran the scooter on 1 @ 12 to 15 mph.

The scooter have been charging now for about at least 10 hours and the battery charger is showing red but the display says 100%.. the voltage meter is saying 67. this is where I get confused.

At 67 am I overcharging the battery? The green light comes on only when it hits 67 volts.

I would appreciate any help!

jojohottie We should be getting some Vsetts in, but haven’t tested any of them, so can’t say much on range, though that does sound surprisingly low compared to the mfg’s. claimed 80+ mile range.

The 28AH version is 60V nominal, which means ~67V at 100% charge (see battery voltage chart).

Sounds like bum battery or charger. Might be worth hitting up wherever you purchased for a replacement.

Thanks for the reply and for verifying it’s 28 amp. My first thought was that maybe I was sent a smaller size battery instead.

Love my Vsett but was concerned about the range. I was hoping to get 28 miles per charge.

I have it fully charged today and will report my findings after my ride today.

I have a vestt 10+ wen I charge it it’s charging but only 4 bars are popping up not five an the voltage is saying 60 volt dose anybody have an idea of what could be happening
