Hi! I’m looking to buy my first scooter, after recently relocating to a city and wanting an alternative mode of transportation. This site had been so helpful, but I am hoping to get some perspective to help me make a final decision on a scooter. In particular, I’m a shorter/smaller person (5’3, 125lbs), and most reviews are focused on suitability for larger riders.
My criteria are a lightweight scooter I can use to run errands around the city, and one that is lower maintenance. I don’t have a ton of riding experience, so speed isn’t a huge concern for me. My budget is about $1000 or under.
Based on the great reviews from this site, it seems like the E-TWOW GT or Inokim Light 2 might be good options. The E-TWOW seems low maintenance, but the Inokim maybe seems better for a new/smaller rider? Or should I be considering something else? Any further insight to help me make a final decision would be so helpful, thank you!
