I went ahead and threw these into the scooter db as a starting point for performance comparisons:
City is the cheapest, lightest option with all-around very good performance and ride quality.
The Explore is the fastest, quickest performing of the bunch. Explore and Cruiser hill climb performance are both excellent and better than the City. You should be good for most hills though will have some slowdown on the steepest.
Cruiser is the undisputed range king, of course. Semi-hydraulic brakes, giant deck and giant pneumatic tires edge out the Explore on ride quality.
It’s hard to review customer service, but both Apollo and VORO (US EMOVE distributor) are legit companies with generally good reputations (and growing # of local service centers).
