Sup folks! Was out on a long ride the other afternoon and I realized I went too fast for a concrete trail that suddenly started to wind to the left. I’ve hit 34mph on my Apollo Explore and usually for winding roads or a turn, I slow down to lets say 15-20mph depending on the curve. I think of myself as a safe and really solid rider who can handle speeds but I still find myself hesitant keeping a higher speed on a curve. I actually am dying for a scooter that easily hits 40-50mph but those turns are a diff animal.
Thoughts on making turns with confidence at higher speeds? I do know sort of leaning into it helps but I’m also sure I’ll get comments saying regardless of power on a scooter you should always slow it down for turns or curving roads. I agree lol Also, what’s the usual speed you guys hit a turn from middle of street to a left or right turn or a curved road?
