Thumb Throttle for Mantis Pro Se

Anyone know if a thumb throttle is available for the Mantis Pro, can’t seem to find any.

I quickly looked through it and it looks relatively easy. The basic procedure is:

Dissassemble. EY3 throttle case by removing a few screws
Drill a hole to in case to route thumb throttle
Desolder the Hall Effect sensor (three pins, through-hole component. that is isolated and easy to get to)
Solder three wires from thumb throttle to pins where Hall effect sensor was
Fill gap left by trigger throttle with hot glue
Reassemble

The soldering part shouldn’t be very difficult, but if you have no mechanical skills then I wouldn’t attempt this procedure.

I researched this too. From what i found, the only way is if you solder it yourself. There is a french guide on how to do it, that can be used with google translate. But seems not that easy.

The new apollo phantom has thumb throttle and has similar specs to the mantis pro se.

GeorgeO I don’t think there is a drop in replacement for EY3 throttle. Only the QS-S4 throttles seem to have the drop-in available for converting to the thumb.

GeorgeO Look good to me. Much easier than hacking the EY3 throttle to bits and gluing it back.

Mhm, that would make the mantis pro se a viable solution for me.

GeorgeO where did you find that solution. Is there a forum/video somewhere from someone using it successfully?
