Hello everyone, I’ve been following ESG on facebook. I registered because I need some advice about p-settings and felt that I would get less crappy answer if asked here.

Q1 : Is it recommended to use max regenarative braking ? I feel hydrolic braking is to sudden. Or maybe it is just personal.

Q2 : Is it possible to set gear 1 2 3 max speed ? I would like to have a max speed of 35kmh on gear 1, max speed of 45 kmh on gear 2 and a max speed of 55kmh on gear 3.

Q3 : Is it just me or is there more option on a 35ah than on a 26ah model ?

Q4 : By the way, wich is the best place/seller to buy accessories ?

Q5 : By default, the escoots set the gear to 3 when I powered it on, it is possible to change it to 1 ?

Q1: most people don’t use the max regen braking, in fact, I would go as far as to say the max might be dangerous if you are not careful because it is so strong. I personally use setting “2” or “3” – @DrScootLittle much less.

Q2: AFAIK you cannot set a max speed for each gear, it is preset with no ability to change.

I definitely don’t recommend max regenerative braking. It’s bad for your motor controller, As your disc brakes wear in a bit, they will get less abrupt. Try only using one or two fingers to brake, in the mean time.

The max speed in each gear isn’t adjustable, that I know of.

There are generally more options on the EY3 interface than the QS-S4, but it can also vary from model year to model year a little. I haven’t seen it vary based on what level of ah the battery has. But it’s possible.

For accessories, I always recommend getting them, as much as is practical, through the seller where you bought the scooter. That way any compatibilty questions go back to the same source. Since we test all of ours scooters in their original spec, we don’t have a ton of experience on the accessory side of things, unfortunately. But maybe someone will chime in on this part of the question.

I guess the model with LT01 are old Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 ?

Not sure about that one. We have a Warrior 11+ and a King here and both have the EY3. The configurations on electric scooters do change a lot though from year to year, and sometimes month to month, although less-so on established brands like Kaabo.
