So I bought a Apollo explore this last Nov. During a black Friday sale… needless to say it’s winter where I live that time of year. So this spring when weather permitted I started riding. Now this is my main form of transportation..it started with flat tires ….no big deal, had to purchase those from fluid, then an error code came up one day, that went away…do problem. Then one day I had the throttle control start flickering…then it seemed ok. Then on my LAST ride it stopped completely! I walked home with about 30 pounds of food on my back. I contacted fluid with each instance…only to take days to hear from anyone….all by chat and emails no phone contact. So I had to troubleshoot and they are saying now they think it’s the main cable…and if I can’t do it myself it would be $250 for me to ship to them and back! I have 101 miles on this scooter! That’s less then most people would put on in 30 days….but sense it’s past 30 days I’m kinda screwed! I paid over $1,000 for something useless to me now….I don’t have $250 to shell out …I’m not sure what to do

Wow another Apollo story, my advice is to flood your story on all their official YouTube channel videos and keep doing tickets and service requests direct to Apollo on line. Unfortunately you have run into the same issue all of us Apollo owners have. A well marketed “scooter of the year” that has the quality of a 1960’s “Corvair”. (dubbed “the one car accident” 🙂 )

Sorry to say if you want satisfaction from your new purchase you will have to scream loudly to get it from this dealer of scooters…

So I’ve found what seems to be the problem, the white wire on the main cable was broke off at the connector……is it possible to bypass the connector and have it all work? I would try fluid Freeride but hard to get any help same day

Wow one thing that would be nice if China would organize, mark and route the wiring in these “quality” builds a bit better than they currently do. They just cram everything into the decks in such a disorganized way.
