Hi, i have no experience with either scooters (Gotrax XR Elite or G4), but i would go with the Gotrax G4 if given the choice. Range. Important: Range mostly, but now once considered that a lower gear gets the speed down to XR Elite Level, should get the range up. So, but sometimes (now) i would appreciate a higher (legal, but 32 kph is speed limit) speed. General considerations:
- Tested Range is not what i would get (i get quite fewer km out of them, weight and all)
- Price is pro XR Elite
- 8.5″ honeycomb tires seems to be easier to acquire, more ubiquitous than 10″ to replace tube filled flat inviting time bombs (rear tire) (higher price for 10″ but they are out there)
- 300W vs 350W, is there an appreciable difference? Maybe, now i´d give the edge to 350.
I have had, naturally, a flat with my back tire (i bought tire slime after getting the flat, did not help for long), so i add costs for a honeycomb tire automatically to the price and would suggest to change the back tire either immediately or buying one to have a spare for the inevitable flat at hand. Tire slime worked when the front tire finally got a puncture, so that was actually nice. Still changed the tire because of low treads.
Currently, the G4 seems not available, sold out or whatever, i get pushed to the Gotrax Gmax Ultra with much more range or XR Elite for much lower price. So there is that.
It is now no choice anymore and XR Elite or double the price for Gmax Ultra.
