Nut caps

Sup family! I know many riders have seen their nut cap covers fall off during the ride and lose them. I lost a couple on my Explore. I was able to get backups from Apollo but my question is; what is a good and clean easy trick to keep them on? I have not put them on yet. Apollo rep said some light glue but not a lot and others on YouTube say hairspray is a trick before you put it over the nut. I have no clue if I will need to remove the nut cap covers in the future for maintenance or a mechanic fix for something in the area so I want it to be solidly on the nut but also be able to remove it w/o screwing up the nut or anything. Icarus23 . Some tub and tile silcone caulking would work good. You can peel it right off the metal when needed. The tub and tile is water clean up friendly.
