San Francisco is good around the Embarcadero / Oracle park baseball stadium to Fishermans Warf , the Marina district , Crissy Field up to the Golden Gate Bridge (scooters not allowed on GG BRIDGE) but you can follow the bike trail that goes under the bridge and head towards Ocean Beach and go to Golden Gate Park
you could also go down to FORT POINT but you should use a dual motor scooter that has enough power to go up hills
its a lot easier than driving around / parking riding a scooter saves you from long walks , much more efficient in those areas of San Francisco , but I would avoid riding scooters downtown , especially places like the Tenderloin , or the Mission district.
I usually ride a scooter like the Dualtron Eagle Pro or Dualtron Victor with plenty of power for city riding and hills and good manueverability / easy to transport
my Kaabo Wolf King GT is too big and heavy and not so easy to transport for SF riding
another tip: always ride with a friend so somebody can watch the scooters , never leave them unattended , even if you have locks , because people can still tamper or damage an unattended scooter , lots of idiots in places like SF.
