metropolitan police not seizing scooters
I wonder if this is true 🤔
In Liverpool now you I hardly see them on the road / parks and if so it’s just the kids. E-bikes now everywhere
Wait till they are legal lol
I’m in Liverpool as well, and I was talking to a police sergeant in our local ASDA coffee shop and he commented that, with the use of hire scooters in the city, peope were now being more sensible and that they were now looking at it as a controlled situation.
Or possibly the taxi/lift drivers (and their unions exerting pressure to make them illegal) that claimed they were financially impacted by people god forbid… riding their own property to work stopped destroying them illegally and have backed off? Who really knows. The ban of e-scooters is/was POLITICAL, and has nothing to do with safety. (safety is just a word used in many ways to avoid talking about the truth) If safety were truly a concern, there would be a lot more bans of many things..
PaulN not our fault they charge a fortune just to go a few miles/km and the fact they want us to tip them big. I get it that how you make money to support yourself or family but we shouldn’t sacrifice half our paychecks just for a ride.
