Learning to Ride a Powerful Scooter

Hi all,

I have a Synergy 1200W Dual Electric Scooter. It’s very powerful and has a steep acceleration curve.

I can ride a Segway NineBot with no problem, but I find acceleration difficult to manage on the Synergy due to its tendency to go from “0 to 60” very quickly - the throttle steps up rapidly and is difficult to hold in one place.

Does anyone have recommendations on learning to ride this elegantly? Or is it simply a matter of spending the time to get used to it?

Did you get a manual with the scooter?

Normally high powered scooters have “gears” and modes you can adjust up and down and you can ride in one wheel low gear until you get your confidence up to go faster 😀

Dogwood As the all wise Paul suggested, you can select a lower “gear” to ride in.
I believe that model is based off of a Unigogo Dual Pro. On that model, the P-Settings can’t be accessed (that I know of).
